AROUND - Canada 2022 & 2023

  2023 July 17-21 Al sur de Labrador   Llegamos a una zona de descanso al lado del Rio Kenamu (Kanikuen Penashue) justo antes del anochecer, había llovido casi todo el día, el ambiente estaba húmedo y la temperatura baja. Estacionamos justo cuando la lluvia cesó y nos dispusimos rápidamente a crear fuego. Last night we arrived at a rest area next to the Kenamu River (Kanikuen Penashue) just before dusk, it had rained most of the day, the atmosphere was humid and the temperature was low. We parked just as the rain stopped and quickly set about creating a fire.   La leña estaba húmeda, el fuego se acompañó de un humo generoso que danzaba con el viento y ponía lejos las pequeñas moscas negras que estaban al ataque. Minutos después llegó un viajero en  motociclista de Ontario en ruta alrededor de la provincia. Tomamos té juntos y compartimos historias, recomendaciones y anhelos haciendo que el tiempo entre mosquitos pasara de manera más memorable.

  2023 Jul 14-17 Saliendo de G oose B ay pudimos ver el suelo arenoso del lugar, ya habíamos identificado este cambio algunos kilómetros antes, pero ahora desde arriba fue posible ver la extensión del suelo y el papel de los líquenes y los musgos para estabilizar los bancos de arena.  Leaving Goose Bay the country showed us the sandy soil of the region; we had already identified this change a few kilometres before, but now from above it is possible to see the extent of the soil and the role of lichens and mosses in stabilising the sandbanks.     Más al norte los bosque infinitos dejando entre ver las formas de las montañas rocosas que se extienden al este entrando al mar.  Further north the forests extend, revealing the shapes of the rocky mountains that extend to the east entering the sea.     A 30 minutos del vuelo, el terreno se percibe más rocoso en las cimas de las montañas, algunas paredes desnudas de roca , seguidos por laderas bajas cu
